Weekly Fig Wednesday | Chattanooga Local Produce Delivery

What is Weekly Fig Wednesday?

It’s when my fresh and locally grown produce gets delivered to my door step! Every Wednesday we receive two insulated bags on our door-step delivered by Weekly Fig, who always ensures you get your goods! Whenever these bags are brought into my house, my two girls rush them like it’s Christmas! “Whats in my bag?” my oldest daughter asks as her little sister digs to find the strawberries!

We go through the bags, always finding a healthy portion and variety of greens, cabbage and lettuces. We also enjoy bok choy, kohlrabi, sugar snap peas,  and/or carrots depending on the week. Often there is a complimentary sample you have the option to receive. We have tried some delicious Tumeric Tea by Te` Life, a wonderful blend of spices by Alchemy Spice and delicious energy bars. Weekly Fig has different plans for different size households and offers the ability to add on many other items you get at the grocery each week like, milk, eggs, bread and meat.

This makes weekly meals much easier! Our family has been eating more nutritious snacks and meals since receiving Weekly Fig deliveries. My girls often eat raw sugar snap peas, steamed broccoli w/ cheese and raw kohlrabi as snacks. Tonight for dinner we had a delicious Beer Cheese Chicken Divan casserole adding lots of broccoli and squash from this week’s delivery. So filling, nutritious and even better the veggies were delivered to my door!

I would highly recommend taking advantage of this wonderful local food delivery service we have here in Chattanooga!
